Fantastic colours. You have achieved a lovely level of detail in the feathers. the background id very simplistic but adds so much to the image.

aww that made me smile. I dunno if you read it, but i'm working on a loon picture now for my Uncle John. It'll definitely be different since it doesn't really have fluffy feathers or any other colors besides black and white. I'll post when i finish it (hopefully soon)
